I really love how it draws the attention to the blocks and the work that I've done and not the pretty designs on the fabric. (Although I do lots of quilts that show off prints on fabric.)Kymberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17350998921225197377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929720771690474999.post-69880484242679449782013-04-29T06:15:17.963-05:002013-04-29T06:15:17.963-05:00Thanks. Originally I had planned on just doing black, white, and orange, but it was a little too 1980's for my tastes.Kymberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17350998921225197377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929720771690474999.post-52596568207442284232013-04-29T06:14:30.454-05:002013-04-29T06:14:30.454-05:00It took a lot of self discipline to force the rand...It took a lot of self discipline to force the randomness even with only three colors per row. I made the rule for myself that whatever came out got sewn together, but I did peek to make sure I wasn't pulling out two that were the same color.Kymberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17350998921225197377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929720771690474999.post-36366264218939816972013-04-28T02:13:27.269-05:002013-04-28T02:13:27.269-05:00Nice job! I tried that "blindly pulling out of a bag" way to sew as well, and was notorious for pulling something out and putting it back in if it wasn't the one i wanted. <br />Love your binding, the scrappyness is the perfect border for a perfect quilt!nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06105529405627517496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8929720771690474999.post-22324973374793743082013-04-27T09:38:53.154-05:002013-04-27T09:38:53.154-05:00The splash of orange is great, it finishes it off ...The splash of orange is great, it finishes it off nicelyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
